We collect as little as possible. This site has no accounts, no newsletters and no checkout.
What we collect
- Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) kept briefly for security and debugging.
- Analytics: we use Clicky (Roxr Software), a privacy-focused analytics service, to measure traffic and which prices people look for, in aggregate. Clicky sets measurement cookies — see the Clicky privacy policy. No advertising identifiers are built by us.
- Email: if you email a price correction we keep the thread for verification, then archive it.
Cookies & advertising
We show ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites; you can manage this at Google Ads Settings or opt out of third-party cookies via aboutads.info. Beyond that, the public site sets no personal-data cookies of its own; the admin area (staff only) uses a session cookie to stay logged in.
Your rights (POPIA)
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what personal information we hold about you and request its deletion — write to [email protected]. In practice, unless you have emailed us, the answer is "none".
Third parties
Outbound links (for example to order.kfc.co.za, Mr D or Uber Eats) take you to services with their own privacy policies.
